Some years ago, through one of my patients, I was fortunate to learn of Anne Ingard, a physical therapist who practices in Natick. My patient, whose opinion I very much value and herself a talented physical therapist, praised her so highly that I started referring several patients to her.

Not only was I extremely pleased and impressed by the care that Ms. Ingard provided, but, even more impressed than my patient had led me to expect.

Over the years, I have sent Ms. Ingard hundreds of patients with a variety of issues: young adults with sports injuries, somewhat older folks with sprains, strains, acute or chronic back or knee issues, patients hoping to avoid orthopedic surgery, patients after joint surgery, etc. In every case, Ms. Ingard has provided exceptional, personalized, and outstanding care. In fact, after consulting a couple of very fine physical therapists for an issue of my own, I sought out Ms. Ingard for my own care and rather quickly came to understand why patients value her so highly.

Not only is she extraordinarily knowledgeable and capable, but also very personable and caring. She explains and communicates really well, which is arguably just as important an ingredient of healing as the therapy itself. In addition, she is a solo therapist. When you are treated by her, you are treated by her only, not by a rotating crew of therapists, such that you see someone one day and someone else the next. She doesn’t start you on exercises only to leave the room and for lack of a better word, abandon you in order to initiate treatment on someone else.

Quite frankly, although we are blessed in the greater Boston area with an abundance of good physical therapists, Ms. Ingard is, without a doubt, the finest physical therapist I have ever worked with. To her additional credit, she has a very holistic health orientation, which I very much respect and appreciate as a physician, since I have increasingly come to appreciate the potential downside risk of medication and surgical intervention for musculoskeletal health issues, hoping to minimize such interventions until
absolutely needed.

Both on behalf of my many patients who have benefited from her ministrations, as well as personally, I am deeply grateful for Ms. Ingard’s consummate skill and compassionate care. I cannot possibly recommend her more highly.”

Anne is a fabuous therapist who helped me return to full function after just a few short months of treatment following my shoulder injury. She motivated me to stick with my home exercises. Her kind manner, expert touch and good humor made for enjoyable sessions that I was sad to see come to an end when I was fully recovered.

I came to Anne in search of last minute treatment and she went above and beyond the call of duty. Eleven days before my first Boston Marathon I got a grade 1 calf strain. Four days before the race I still had trouble walking. I began a short course of cold laser treatment with Anne. As soon as I started the treatment, my injury healed very quickly. Thanks to Anne’s cold laser treatment, much to my great surprise, I was able to complete the Marathon. I recommend Anne’s physical therapy to anyone. She offers great personal service and gets outstanding results.

I was referred to Anne Ingard to treat plantar fasciitis. Not only did she improve my heel pain, but she helped me with nerve damage in my toes due to a back injury that occurred over 10 years ago. Back then I was told the damage was permanent.   Fortunately, Anne encouraged me with various exercises and laser treatment. I have already seen significant improvement in my foot and toes. What I love about Anne is that she looks at the whole body connection and gets to the root of the problem. My only regret is that I wasn’t referred to Anne 10 years ago.“

This is a letter to express thanks for the wonderful work you are doing to help me heal. I thank you for the professionalism that you possess that got you to take a risk in buying laser equipment and for the hours of your time devoted to learning how to use it.   As you know I had given up hope that I could enjoy any quality of life. I now feel hopeful that much of my functioning can be restored.”

I have been fortunate to be under the care of Anne Ingard PT and have benefited dramatically from her work with both acute and ongoing problems. Her hands on therapy in addition to her prescriptive exercise routines, have kept me far more pain free and active than before.

The most remarkable change has come through her use of laser therapy especially on my feet. I suffer from idiopathic loss of about 60 percent of normal feeling in my feet.   The laser treatments have resulted in about 80% return of sensation in the feet.. I no longer trip, fall, or lose my balance. I am thrilled since I engage in so many physical activities especially walking and swimming. The laser has been a real boom to my daily life.”
